As a franchisee, you will operate a restaurant called Maui Wowi, preparing and serving fresh fruit smoothies, Hawaiian coffee and related espresso beverages, a variety of Hawaiian products, and other beverage and food items, and other products and services. Maui Wowi products are sold from either fixed store fronts, non-traditional locations such as malls, airports or business complexes, or from portable units placed at events that occur on a periodic basis or are held in special or temporary venues. Two types of Maui Wowi franchises are being offered under this Franchise Disclosure Document. A “Standard Franchise” enables you to own and operate three Operating Units, of any type in any combination. An “Empire Builder Franchise” enables you to own and operate ten Operating Units of any type in any combination.

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Maui Wowi franchise for a Fixed Operating Unit ranges from $96,350 to $1,116,000. This includes $34,000 to $60,000 that will be paid to the franchisor or their affiliate. The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Mobile Operating Unit is $28,900 to $200,050. This includes $24,000 to $50,000 that will be paid to the franchisor or their affiliate. The total additional investment necessary to begin operation of a Mobile Fixed Operating Unit ranges from $35,100 to $248,050.
