The total investment necessary to begin operation of a newly-constructed prototypical Element Hotel, excluding the cost of real estate and related costs (building permit, tap, and impact fees), insurance, and contingencies, ranges from $14,447,310 to $34,262,210 for an 80 to 110-guestroom Element Hotel to $20,592,110 to $42,445,510 for a 120 to 150-guestroom Element Hotel. This includes approximately $162,300 to $249,200 that must be paid to the franchisor or an affiliate.
